I was on the search of a song from a cartoon called "otti's ottifanten" that i've watched in the 90s. It was a funny punkrock track from the great Otto, that stuck in my ear. I could'nt find that song, but what i found is a collection of ska inspired songs from several cartoons.
I like this kind of music. It's fun to listen to it. This means punk to me:

Clubstas

Clubstas - a rock and reggaeband from my neighborhood, released their third album and played live last saturday. I filmed the show and present here a short view of it:

I also have their discography. The first record is more rock than reggae and the lyrics are mostly english  or bavarian.
On the second album they mainly singing bavarian, except for one spanish song and the new cd contains more ska than the previous. If you like to listen it please write me in the comments.

Music should be free

Hier mal ein paar kurze Zeilen für meine deutschsprachigen "Followers":

Ich bin der Meinung, daß Musik, ebenso wie Luft zum atmen und Wasser zum trinken, als ein freies Gut zu betrachten sein sollte.
Ich kann nur für mich sprechen, denn ich benötige Musik ebenso wie Luft und Wasser für ein gesundes und glückliches Leben. So denke ich, denken auch viele andere Musikliebhaber.

Musik ist Kunst. Keine Frage und sollte auch belohnt werden und zwar in Form vom Applaus bei den Konzerten. Damit diese Form von Kunst nicht gar "brotlos" ausfällt, denke ich, liegt es im Ermessen der Besucher, Eintritt für die Veranstaltungen bzw. Geld für Merchandising und Tonaufnahmen auszugeben. Dies sollte auf freiwilliger Basis passieren. Denn eine Band, die gerne Musik macht und ihren Fans somit auch zeigen wird, daß sie "etwas zu bieten" hat, werden dementsprechend belohnt werden.

In diesem Sinne: Fuck commercial censorship!
And specially fuck the mainstream.

Ashes To Ashes

I saw The Fancy Dolls played live on a psychobilly show in 2012. They made a good mix of rockabilly, surf and new wave and they also had a little offbeat in their sound. At this time they had only released a selfproducted demo cd with four tracks on it with a nice coverartwork. The cd looks like a vinyl record and the songs sounds fantastic, but no ska on it. 2013 they released their debut lp and there´s one very cool ska track on it. Now almost five years later i ordered this masterpiece in a recordstore and finnaly i can post it. Have fun with this jewel! Ashes To Ashes
